Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-10-22
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using ssokIQ — the Chrome extension "ssokIQ" (the "Extension") and the website ssokiq.com (the "Site") — operated by 주식회사 스트로크허브 (the "Company"), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and its members.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means everything the Extension and the Site provide: YouTube keyword and trend analysis, video SEO scores, list badges, title, description, chapter and tag suggestions inside YouTube Studio, thumbnail text and image creation, and keyword trend data.
- "Member" means a person who has agreed to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and signed up with a Google account. An ssokIQ member account is the same account as a member account on ssok.ai, which is also operated by the Company.
- "Free trial" means the period of 7 days, starting when a member first uses the Service, during which the member may use the whole Service, including the AI features, free of charge.
- "Plan" means the right, obtained for a fee, to use the Service including the AI features for a set period. There are two plans by the number of Google accounts that can share it: "Family 5" and "Family 10". "Free member" means a member whose free trial has ended and who is not using a plan.
- "Plan owner" means the member who paid for a plan, and "family member" means a member invited by the plan owner to use the Service under the same plan.
- "ChatGPT subscription" means a paid ChatGPT subscription that the member holds directly with OpenAI, and "Codex CLI" means OpenAI's program that is signed in with that subscription and runs AI on the member's PC.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of These Terms)
- The Company posts these Terms on the Site so that they can be viewed at any time.
- The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that this does not violate applicable laws. When it does, it will announce the effective date and the changes on the Site from 7 days before the effective date, or from 30 days before if the change is unfavorable to members.
- A plan that has already been paid for is governed by the Terms in force at the time of payment.
Article 4 (Sign-up and Withdrawal)
- Anyone 14 years of age or older may sign up with a Google account by agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
- Members must not use another person's account, and one account must not be shared by several people. If several people need to use the Service, please invite them as family members under Article 7.
- Members may withdraw at any time, either directly on the ssok.ai My Page or by contacting us at the address below. If a plan owner withdraws, the plan and its family members' use end at the same time (refunds follow Article 10).
- If a member violates these Terms, the Company may restrict the member's use of the Service or suspend the account. The Company will give the reason for a suspension, and the member may object by email.
Article 5 (Content of the Service and AI)
- The Extension reads YouTube's public pages and information (search results, video and channel pages, autocomplete suggestions, etc.) in the member's browser and shows scores and suggestions. It does not ask for the member's YouTube password or channel management permissions.
- The AI features (title, description, chapter and tag suggestions, thumbnail text and images) work only through Codex CLI running on the member's PC with the member's own ChatGPT subscription. The member must personally obtain a ChatGPT subscription, install and sign in to Codex CLI, and install the "PC connector" that links it to the Extension. The fees, usage limits and terms of the ChatGPT subscription are a matter between the member and OpenAI; the Company does not collect or pay those fees.
- AI requests go directly from the member's PC to OpenAI and do not pass through the Company's servers. Without a ChatGPT subscription, or once its usage limit is exceeded, the AI features cannot be used; even then, the other features such as keyword and SEO analysis remain available.
- Figures such as the opportunity score, search demand, competition, SEO and title scores, and comparison with the channel average are estimates calculated from public data.
- "Applying" a suggestion in Studio only fills in the input field on the member's screen; it takes effect only when the member saves it in YouTube Studio.
- The Company is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, YouTube, Google or OpenAI. If YouTube's page structure or Codex CLI changes, some features may not work for a while, and the Company will make efforts to fix them.
Article 6 (Free Features and Free Trial)
- Keyword and trend analysis, video SEO scores, list badges, title and description scores and suggested tags in Studio (selected without AI), and keyword trend data are free for every member.
- The free trial starts when a member first uses the Service and lasts 7 days, and is given only once per member. During the free trial, the AI features may also be used. Even during the trial, the AI features run on the member's own ChatGPT subscription (Codex CLI).
- When the free trial ends, the member becomes a free member and keeps using the free features in paragraph 1; the AI features (title, description and chapter suggestions, AI tag selection, thumbnail text and images) require subscribing to a plan or being invited as a family member. No payment is charged automatically when the trial ends.
Article 7 (Plans and Family Members)
- The plans are as follows, and the prices and number of accounts are shown on the "My plan" screen of the Site. Prices are in US dollars per year; your local currency may be shown at checkout, and the final price, currency and taxes shown at Paddle checkout prevail.
| Plan | Google accounts that can use it (including the plan owner) | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Family 5 | 5 | $19 per year |
| Family 10 | 10 | $39 per year |
| Family 10 + extra accounts | One at a time from the 11th account | $4 per year for each extra account |
- The plan owner can add and remove family members' Google email addresses on the "My plan" screen. A family member who signs in to the Site with that Google account can use the Service until the plan owner's plan ends. Family members also use the AI features with their own ChatGPT subscription (Codex CLI).
- The plan owner must inform each person invited as a family member that their email address will be used for the Service, and obtain their consent.
- If more family members are added than the number of accounts (for example, after reducing extra accounts), only as many as the number of accounts can use the plan, in the order they were added.
- A free trial is not given again to a member who has used the Service as a family member.
Article 8 (Payment and Automatic Renewal)
- Plans are subscriptions that renew automatically every year. A plan can be used for one year from the first payment, and unless cancelled, it continues year by year with the then-current price charged automatically to the payment method first registered. If the price changes, the Company will notify you by email and on the Site at least 30 days before renewal, and if you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before renewal.
- The plan owner may cancel the subscription at any time under "My plan → Manage subscription" on the Site. After cancellation, no further automatic payment is made, and both the plan owner and the family members keep using the Service until the end of the period already paid for.
- If a Family 5 subscriber upgrades to Family 10, the difference, prorated by days for the remaining period, is charged immediately. If extra accounts are added on a Family 10 plan, the added accounts are charged immediately for the remaining period; if they are reduced, the lower amount applies from the next payment.
- Orders and payments are processed by Paddle.com ("Paddle"), the Company's online reseller, and Paddle is the Merchant of Record for these orders. Paddle handles customer inquiries about payment, tax calculation, receipts and refunds, and Paddle's Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms) also apply to the payment. Depending on your country, taxes such as VAT may be added to the payment amount, and the final amount is shown at checkout.
- If an automatic payment fails, Paddle will retry for several days. During that time (up to 3 days after the end of the paid period) the Service can still be used; if payment ultimately fails, the subscription ends.
Article 9 (PC Connector)
- The "PC connector" is a small program that links the Extension with Codex CLI on the member's PC, and it runs only on the member's PC.
- The Company does not receive or store files on the member's PC or Codex CLI sign-in information.
Article 10 (Withdrawal of Subscription and Refunds)
Withdrawal of subscription and refunds follow the separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Refunds are processed by Paddle as the seller and returned to the original payment method.
Article 11 (Prohibited Conduct)
Members must not:
- share an account or plan beyond its number of accounts, or sell or lend it
- reverse engineer the Extension or the servers, or send excessive requests to the servers by automated means
- create thumbnails using reference images that infringe others' rights (likeness, trademarks or copyrighted works)
- use the Service to violate YouTube's or OpenAI's terms of use or any law
Article 12 (AI Output and Copyright)
- Members may freely use the titles, descriptions, tags, chapters and images created by AI. However, OpenAI's terms of use also apply to that output.
- AI output may be inaccurate or may overlap with the rights of others. Please check it yourself before using it.
- Copyright in the Extension, the Site and the score calculation methods belongs to the Company.
Article 13 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Company does not guarantee views, subscribers or revenue. Scores and suggestions are reference material to help your judgment.
- The Company is not liable for failure to provide the Service due to causes beyond its control, such as natural disasters, network failures, or outages at YouTube, OpenAI or the payment processor. This does not apply where the Company acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
- The Company is not liable for damage caused by the member's own fault (account sharing, an expired or over-limit ChatGPT subscription, etc.).
Article 14 (Changes to and Discontinuation of the Service)
- The Company may change the content of the Service or end parts of it. Important changes will be announced in advance.
- If the Company ends the entire Service, it will give 30 days' notice, stop automatic renewal, and refund the remaining period of use.
Article 15 (Dispute Resolution)
- If a dispute arises between the Company and a member, both will consult in good faith to resolve it.
- If consultation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- This English version is provided for convenience; if there is any conflict, the Korean version prevails.
