Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-10-21
주식회사 스트로크허브 (the "Company") complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection of Korea, and collects only as much personal information as is strictly necessary.
This policy applies to the Chrome extension "ssokIQ" (the "Extension") and the website ssokiq.com (the "Site").
An ssokIQ member account is the same as a member account on ssok.ai, which is also operated by the Company, and processing on ssok.ai follows the ssok.ai Privacy Policy.
1. What we collect and how
When you sign up or sign in with a Google account
- Your email address, name and Google account ID as provided by Google. We do not receive your password.
- Nickname — chosen by you on the sign-up screen. At sign-up, we obtain your agreement to the Terms and confirmation that you are 14 years of age or older.
- A cookie (a random number) to keep you signed in
Created while you use the Service
- Free trial start and end dates, plan type and period
- Family plans: the Google email addresses of family members entered by the plan owner, and when they were entered. The plan owner must inform family members and obtain their consent before entering them. Family members themselves may request deletion at any time using the contact details below.
When you pay (Paddle)
- Payment takes place on the checkout of Paddle, the Merchant of Record. Your email, country and postal code (for tax calculation), and card or other payment details are received directly by Paddle and do not pass through the Company's servers. The Company neither receives nor stores card numbers.
- What the Company receives from Paddle: Paddle's customer ID, subscription ID and transaction ID, the subscribed plan and number of extra accounts, the subscription status (renewing, scheduled cancellation, payment failed), the next payment date, the payment amount and currency, and the payment time. These are used only to turn plans on and off and to manage sales and refunds.
- Processing of payment information follows Paddle's Privacy Policy (paddle.com/legal/privacy).
When you use the Extension — what is sent to the Company's servers
- When you view keyword trends: the keywords you analyzed. The Company adds these keywords, without linking them to you, to a list used to collect public YouTube data and builds up daily trends.
- Sign-in and plan check requests (whether you are allowed to use the Service)
When you use the Extension — what is not sent to the Company
- The Extension reads YouTube's public pages and information directly in your browser to calculate scores. Data in this process does not come to the Company.
- Inputs and results of the AI features (video titles, descriptions, captions, thumbnail reference images, and the titles, descriptions and images created) are sent to and received from OpenAI directly by Codex CLI on your PC using your own ChatGPT subscription, and do not pass through the Company's servers. Their processing follows OpenAI's privacy policy.
- Settings, favorites and recently analyzed keywords are stored only in your browser (extension storage).
2. Purposes of use
- Member identification and sign-in; management of free trials, plans and family members
- Payment processing, refunds and keeping transaction records (a legal obligation)
- Preventing misuse (sharing beyond the number of accounts, excessive requests) and responding to outages
- Answering inquiries
3. Retention period
Personal information is destroyed without delay once its purpose is achieved. However, the following are kept for the periods required by law.
| Item | Period | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Records of contracts and withdrawal of subscriptions | 5 years | Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce |
| Records of payment and supply of goods | 5 years | Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce |
| Records of consumer complaints and dispute handling | 3 years | Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce |
| Access logs | 3 months | Protection of Communications Secrets Act |
Member information (email, name, nickname, Google account ID) and free trial records are deleted immediately when you withdraw.
A family member's email is deleted immediately when the plan owner removes it or when the plan owner withdraws.
4. Provision to third parties
The Company does not provide users' personal information to third parties, except where the user has consented in advance or
where an investigative agency requests it through lawful procedures under applicable law.
When a family member signs in, the plan owner of that plan can see only whether the family member has signed in (whether they have joined).
5. Outsourcing of processing
| Processor | Task |
|---|---|
| Google LLC | Google account sign-in (identity verification) |
| Paddle.com Market Limited (Paddle) | Reseller (Merchant of Record) — checkout, payments and automatic renewal, tax calculation, receipts, refund processing |
| Hetzner Online GmbH | Server operation (located in Germany) |
6. Transfer abroad
| Recipient (country) | Items transferred | When and how | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) | All items that come to the Company's servers under section 1 above | When you use the Service · encrypted network transmission | The retention periods in section 3 above |
| Google LLC (United States) | Sign-in requests | When you click Google sign-in · encrypted network transmission | According to Google's privacy policy |
| Paddle.com Market Limited (United Kingdom) | Information you enter at checkout when paying, and the member ID passed on by the Company (used only to link the subscription to the member) | At each payment and renewal · encrypted network transmission | According to Paddle's policy |
Because the AI features send requests directly from your PC to OpenAI using your own ChatGPT subscription, the Company does not transfer personal information to any AI company.
